Suzano
Stefan is the Head of EMEA Public Policy at Suzano, the world’s largest pulp producer, and a member of the EMEA management team. In this role, he serves as a key interface between Suzano’s corporate operations and political and regulatory authorities, drawing on more than 20 years of experience on management teams, a major supervisory board, and in leading corporate and public affairs functions.
Throughout his career, Stefan has built extensive expertise across highly complex and regulated sectors, including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, tobacco, and energy. He has been responsible for leading critical success functions such as ESG, regulatory affairs, market access, communications, government relations, crisis and litigation management, as well as fiscal and legal matters.
Earlier in his career, Stefan developed a deep understanding of policymaking processes through key roles within EU institutions and national legislative bodies.
