Dr Christian Temme is Director Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) at SGS in Germany, where he is responsible for the end‑to‑end business line, including strategy, operations and transformation. He brings extensive experience in environmental testing and laboratory services, combining deep operational expertise with a strong strategic perspective. In his current role, he focuses on advancing EHS services, driving digital transformation, and improving quality, efficiency and customer centricity. Under his leadership, the German EHS organization covers a nationwide network of laboratories and service units, offering a broad portfolio ranging from environmental analytics and environmental hygiene to specialized topics such as PFAS analysis and eDNA.
