Sebastian Stürzl

Sebastian Stürzl, born 1986 in Herdecke, Germany, grew up in Marburg. After leaving school in 2005, I moved to Bremen to complete my training as an industrial clerk at SIEMENS AG. After qualifying in 2008, I joined Global Procurement as a Strategic Buyer. In 2010 I moved to the NORDFROST Group in Schortens near Wilhelmshaven. One of my responsibilities was to set up a central purchasing department for all refrigerated warehouses at home and abroad. In 2018, I became head of purchasing at RÜCKER in Aurich, where, together with the team, I am responsible for direct materials, services, energy and investment projects.
16 years in purchasing, which is my full-time career, already indicate my passion for purchasing. I enjoy the variety of tasks and challenges in the markets. The question of how to set up purchasing for the future and what steps are necessary to meet growing demands today and tomorrow is both challenging and exciting.
