Ruben von Ristok, Head of Corporate Sustainability at DEKRA, is overseeing the global sustainability agenda of the world’s largest independent, non-listed TIC-organization. He has played a key role in anchoring sustainability as a core strategic topic, spanning corporate responsibility and business opportunity, and in establishing corporate sustainability as an independent global function. Milestones under his leadership include DEKRA’s multiple Platinum ratings in EcoVadis and the launch of the holistic DEKRA Climate Impact program, featuring a 1.5 °C‑aligned decarbonization pathway, an internal carbon pricing mechanism, and support for climate mitigation and adaptation projects. He holds an academic background in management with focus on sustainability and international relations and has more than ten years of professional experience.
