Rahma Braham

My name is Rahma Braham,

I am Head of Advanced Purchasing for the Switches, Sensors and Controls Business Unit at Marquardt. I lead a global team of project buyers in Germany, China, Romania, India and USA.
I am responsible for globally selecting, nominating and qualifying the right suppliers for the buy parts of our new products until the product is handed over to the respective Marquardt plant for series production. In doing so, I ensure that the purchasing-related project goals - quality, time, costs - are achieved in line with the global purchasing and commodity strategy.

In my previous role as Manager of Strategic Planning and Reporting for the Executive Board (Chief Operating Officer), my responsibilities included strategic planning, governance, organizational development, project management organization (PMO). The focus was on the order fulfilment process (Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering & Marquardt Excellence).
Previously, I worked as a project manager in Global Operations, where I was responsible for the planning and execution of complete product relocations and all assigned processes between Germany, Romania, Macedonia and Tunisia.

As a Lean Expert and Trainer as well as Negotiation Coach and mentor, I am very passionate about Operational and Negotiation Excellence as well as mentoring.

I was born and grew up in Tunisia, studied engineering in Germany (Stuttgart), lived in Spain (Barcelona), Romania (Sibiu) and the US (Upperstate NY) and never stopped travelling. I love languages, speak five of them, and love working in a multicultural environment.
