Lorenz Raml is Chief of Staff for Product and Customer Success at Prewave, a Vienna-based AI-driven risk and resilience platform for global supply chains trusted by leading European Automotive, Manufacturing, and Energy companies. He works at the intersection of product development and customer experience, making sure what Prewave builds matches what customers need on the ground.

Before this role, Lorenz was responsible for Prewave's Sustainability Due Diligence suite, partnering directly with Procurement, Sustainability, and Compliance teams with global industry leaders on LkSG, CSDDD, and other programs. He brings a working view of how supply chain regulation lands inside large organizations, and what it takes to deliver against it.

Prewave’s technology continuously monitors and analyzes millions of data sources across languages and formats to surface early signals of disruption, from natural disasters and geopolitical volatility to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks, allowing risk, procurement, and supply chain teams to act with speed and confidence.

A key milestone in the company’s evolution came in 2025, when Prewave was named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Supplier Risk Management Solutions, reflecting both the platform’s vision and its ability to execute at enterprise scale. In the same period, Prewave also received leadership recognition in the Spend Matters SolutionMap evaluations, solidifying its position among top solutions for procurement and risk professionals. Since then, Prewave has repeated both achievements yet again in 2026.
