Laila is a cross-functional leader with diverse backgrounds. She holds a master's degree in Islamic studies and organizational psychology from the Free University of Berlin, a master's degree in intercultural skills from the Danube University Krems (Austria) and an MBA from the FOM University of Applied Sciences Hamburg. In her previous role, she was Head of Global Procurement Processes and Tools at Schindler. Interestingly, she started her career as a sales manager. Today she deals with the global optimization of processes and tools on the procurement side and enjoys researching new trends in procurement. She is currently Global Procurement COE & PMO Director at Bekaert.
