Bernd Thannheiser has been around in the procurement community for more than 25 years. During this time, he held various roles in Procurement for the likes of Siemens, Eaton and thyssenkrupp, ranging from local buyer for indirect materials to CPO, before joining SAP as Director Solution Advisory for Intelligent Spend and Business Networks. Here, he took his passion for strategy and procurement development to the tools side of the equasion – both getting involved with product strategy and development, as well as discussing with customers their needs and requirements, helping them on their journey to transform their organizations and processes, leveraging the ever growing capabilities of SAP’s procurement solutions.
