Dr. Martin Rothermel is an attorney and partner at the law firm Taylor Wessing, where he has built the Commercial and Contract Law practice area. He advises companies on procurement, quality assurance, distribution (e-commerce, commercial agent, dealer, and franchise systems), and product liability. In July 2022, he published the first commentary on the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) and advises numerous companies on the implementation of supply chain due diligence obligations, including EUDR and CSDDD, as well as the Battery Regulation and PPWR. Dr. Rothermel is a Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist and also advises on CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy.
