Manuela Haddadzadeh

Manuela Haddadzadeh is the Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer at Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) for many years, which is active on the market as a public procurer. She is responsible for purchasing at NDR; it broadcasts radio and television programmes across the four states of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Hamburg as well as online. In addition to the head office in Hamburg, it also maintains broadcasting houses in Hanover, Kiel and Schwerin as well as studios and foreign correspondent offices. The NDR purchasing portfolio includes, alongside the traditional areas of construction and building maintenance, office and business equipment, energy and cleaning, the creative agency and IT hardware and software divisions and, particularly, broadcasting products and services specific to radio broadcasting. Within ARD, NDR is responsible for some divisions as Lead Buyer; this applies, for instance, to news agency agreements, all services concerning the broadcasting network and some special broadcasting software. On the basis of two permanent collaborations within ARD, NDR conducts all Europe-wide tendering procedures for Radio Bremen. It is also responsible for all procurement and commissioning for the nationwide Deutschlandradio (Cologne and Berlin) when an order value of € 100k is exceeded. In addition, Manuela Haddadzadeh has taken on a number of strategic responsibilities in the scope of the current structural reform at ARD. She is in charge of a task force for developing and implementing cost reduction measures in the TV network’s purchasing departments.
