My study "Future Hospital Procurement 2025" has shown that the buyer of the future first of all has to standardize and digitize his own data and processes. In order to actively live the role as game changer in the company, he has to find agile solutions with the help of internal and external value creation partners and implement them successfully. As a connoisseur of corporate goals, he buys not only products, but also new market and business opportunities.

Stefan Krojer is Business Unit Director Strategic Purchasing at Johanniter Competence Center GmbH. He is a Pioneer in "Social Buying". Previously, he was Head of Economics and Supply at St. Mary's Hospital Berlin. His career started with the group purchasing organization P.E.G. as assistant to the board and later as key account manager. He gained further experience with the Rhön-Klinikum AG and the logistician Hospital Logiserve GmbH.
