Dipl.-Ing.oec. Michael Schürmann studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. He has been working in various functions in supply chain management for more than 13 years. Michael Schürmann has in-depth knowledge of direct and indirect purchasing as well as supply chain operations and planning. Michael has worked in consulting and line functions and knows the working environment in medium-sized hidden champions as well as in large corporations such as Siemens. After managing global indirect procurement, he currently handles strategic supply chain projects and is Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations at Körber AG. Körber AG is the holding company of an international technology group with around 10,000 employees worldwide. The Group combines technologically leading companies with more than 100 production, service and sales locations. Michael is also a speaker and moderator for events on digital procurement and Indirects Management.
