For more than 20 years, he has held leading positions in companies in the FMCG, Automotive and Metal Processing Industries.
His most important management positions were at Procter & Gamble (consumer goods and technical purchasing), Rheinmetall (automotive division), Toyota Formula 1 (development of strategic purchasing).
For more than 10 years, Uwe Peters has been Director Procurement & Logistics at Schoeller Werk in Hellenthal, south of Cologne.
Uwe Peters' purchasing team has overall responsibility for materials management with process and task control, PM and NPM purchasing, projects and logistics.
The focus topics currently include process improvement and location development.
He is a committed member of the BME Mittelstandsoffensive committee.
