Kerstin Meyer-Lipp, PhD, has more than 18 years of experience in Research & Development in various FMCG companies. Since 2019 she has been serving as Chief Scientific & Sustainability Officer with the focus on product development as well as the development of the sustainability strategy at Merz Lifecare, a subsidiary of Merz Pharma.
Her current activities focus on the sustainability strategy, and also on sustainability reporting and the reduction of Scope 1 and
2 emissions at Merz and Scope 3 emissions at our direct suppliers. Therefore, she developed a sustainability engagement strategy and a sustainability audit. She is very familiar with the daily discussions between the implementation of sustainability and the costs.
