Andrea Herzog

Andrea Herzog joined the procurement department at MorphoSys AG in June 2020. As Head of Local Procurement, she leads the procurement team responsible for various spend categories for the German site.

In addition, she is in charge for Procurement Excellence, i.e. the processes and systems for the global procurement team. Over the last 3 years, the focus was on digitizing, harmonizing, and automating the procure-to-pay process, including the successful implementation of a new procurement system.

After graduating from business school, Andrea Herzog has experienced different facets of procurement both in large corporations such as Sandoz/Novartis as well as in start-ups. After almost 20 years, she is still excited about the function which allows to explore new possibilities every day.

As a female leader and mother, diversity as well as balancing work and family life are topics close to her heart.
