Timo Usinger is Vice President for Purchasing and Customer Project Management at Vetter-Pharma Fertigung GmbH & Co.KG. Vetter is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for clinical and commercial filling and packaging of aseptic injection systems such as syringes, cartridges and vials. Vetter does not manufacture its own pharmaceutical products and offers the reliability of an independent, family-owned company.
Timo Usinger has overall responsibility for both technical and pharmaceutical purchasing. The challenge is to ensure Vetter's strong growth in a GMP regulated environment and a tight procurement market. In addition, procurement processes are constantly being adapted due to growth and changing environmental conditions. Professionalization, digitalization and efficiency increase are the focus.
