Melanie Menrath

Melanie Menrath was born near Stuttgart and has been living in Hamburg since 2009. She has more than 15 years of experience in various functions of global procurement and global supply chain management at international corporations in the pharmaceutical, medical technology and life science industries. In addition to a successful SAP ERP implementation, where she was responsible as part-project manager for the Europe-wide harmonization and standardization of the P2P process, she mastered her first management task after her parental leave in the job sharing model. Today, as Head of Non Production Material Procurement, she is responsible for a new 14-person team (Global Category Management & Purchasing) at Eppendorf SE. Here she is currently implementing a target operating model with the new department and has just introduced an eProcurement tool with SAP Ariba. Since November 2022, she has also been supporting the BME region Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein as deputy chairwoman and is in particular the contact person for the topic of "women in procurement".
