Randy Drenth

Randy Drenth has been Head of Logistics at Swisscom since 2018. He is responsible for the entire distribution and logistics landscape of Switzerland's largest ICT provider.

Logistics manages Swisscom's external warehouse, transport and repair partners, ensures optimal delivery performance at all times and is responsible for the budget.

The team also develops future-proof and innovative logistics services, thus enabling new customer experiences.
It creates predictive and adaptive logistics with the support of digitalization and automation.

For 30 years, Randy has been active in the fields of operations, supply, and value chain management, worked as a lecturer and speaker at various universities, and authored numerous scientific and practice-oriented articles such as Competencies for Supply Chain Managers (Springer 2007).

In 2017, his latest book Strategy für Industry 4.0 was published by Springer-Gabler.
