Susanne Vorberg

Susanne Vorberg is responsible for various projects relating to purchasing strategy, customs, offset and crisis management in central strategic purchasing at Airbus.

She has more than 20 years of professional experience in various companies in the areas of consulting, eCommerce, procurement and supply chain. The basis for her professional career was laid in her education as an industrial engineer.

In a multicultural environment, composed of suppliers and teams worldwide, she was able to deepen her profound technical and business knowledge over the years. In-service training in the areas of Lean & Six Sigma, Design Thinking, UX and coaching add important building blocks to this profile on the way to becoming a digital transformation leader and manager of strategic purchasing projects.

In 2016, she was nominated as Digital Transformation Leader Procurement - an opportunity to lead the digital Airbus community in shaping the future of procurement. She combines all aspects that have a significant influence on digitalisation: New technologies, agile ways of working and disruptive approaches. Based on this role, the step evolves to her current role in 2019 as project leader for various strategic procurement projects at Airbus.
