Kai Berking

As the CPO for ALBA Europe Holding plc & Co. KG, Kai Berking is responsible for the overall procurement activities of this decentral organized family business in the environmental industry. At Lufthansa Technik AG his procurement career started, followed by further responsibilities in corporate development and production logistics. After that he moved into corporate purchasing of the headquarter at Lufthansa AG where he was responsible for the overall category management. As the CPO of Air Berlin plc. & Co. KG he then took over responsibility of the total procurement volume of the second largest carrier in Germany. Following that he was the CPO of Archroma Management GmbH private equity owned worldwide acting business in the chemical industry based in Barcelona, Spain. Kai Berking studied machinery engineering in Munich, Germany and graduated in business economics in Bamberg, Germany. Kai Berking is married with two children living close to Berlin. Since his childhood he is an active hockey player and loves skiing. If time permits he tries to join the cultural events offered in Berlin as much as possible.
