Elena Brauns is the first CPO of Stromnetz Berlin GmbH, Germany´s largest electricity distribution grid.
After the ownership of the Stromnetz Berlin was handed over from Vattenfall AB to City of Berlin on the July 1st 2021, Elena and her team are building the new integrated Procurement function, including Supply Chain and Facility Management.
In the last 10 years Elena was acting in different leadership roles in Procurement at Vattenfall, at last as Procurement Director of Business Area Distribution (DSO part of Vattenfall), including responsibility for DSO Procurement in Sweden, Germany and UK.
Born and raised in Russia, Elena is actively promoting Diversity and Inclusion in her company, and puts special attention on sustainability in the supply chain.
