Karin Fess is an Associate Partner with the Management Consultancy Porsche Consulting leading the competence center “Future-ready procurement”. Her mission: reducing the operational burden of procurement organizations and enabling them to shape the future of their company. With her team of experienced buyers and procurement consultants she transforms procurement organizations from PO factories or functional experts into a true business partner. Cloud solutions, applied AI and process mining are just some of the tools of choice which help unleash the power of procurement.

For 15 years Karin Fess has been passionate about procurement having worked for 10 years in sourcing before moving into procurement consulting. As Purchasing Group Manager and Procurement Business Leaders at Procter & Gamble International Operations she lead global cost savings and supplier development programs. She experienced the value contribution of procurement as a business partner first hand when she assured the integration of procurement into the business strategy and vice versa as a member of the Supply Chain Lead Team for a multi-billion dollar business unit.
