Marc-Ruben Kroek is currently Head of Procurement at SHARE NOW, the Mobility Joint Venture of BMW and Daimler.
The focus areas of his work are:
- Development and expansion of the strategic procurement function for vehicle purchasing and Indirect Procurement,
- Realization of savings within the framework of strategic cost management measures,
- Digitization of sourcing and purchasing processes,
- Cultural and procedural merger of the two former car sharing companies DriveNow and car2go to form SHARE NOW.
In his earlier professional life, he worked in management positions in Indirect Procurement at the international car rental company Hertz and later as Director Procurement at the start-up nu3, which is now a company of Shop Apotheke Europe.
Marc-Ruben holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at the TU Dresden and is a member of the BME and CIPS.
