Patrick Reiß (32) is the Vice President Global Spend Governance, the global governance function for Procurement and Real Estate Management at DB Schenker. His team is responsible for strategic development, principles, guidelines, performance management, data analytics and the digital transformation of the two departments. One of the current projects is e.g. the implementation of SAP Ariba in more than 40 countries.
Before Patrick joined Schenker in 2019 he was in different industries and in different roles, but always in the Procurement area, handling topics as operational buyer or strategic buyer for different categories. In the last years he focused more and more on transformation projects, the implementation of tools and spend optimization projects. Considering the procurement of the future his clear message is that it is all about people, data and technology.
