Tarek Müller

Tarek Müller (29) comes from Hamburg and is co-founder and CEO of ABOUT YOU, one of Europe’s fastest-growing e-Commerce start-ups, with a growth rate of over 100%. Müller has been developing digital business models for online trade for over a decade and is responsible for marketing & brands at ABOUT YOU.

He is also a shareholder in eTribes Framework GmbH, founded in 2011, and an active investor and business angel, with holdings in more than 15 companies. In 2010, he and Sebastian Betz founded the developer conference code.talks in Hamburg; this conference attracted some 1,800 participants and 120 national and international speakers, making it the largest developer conference in Europe. In 2014, Müller was awarded an e-Star Personality Award, while economics magazine Capital listed him as one of their “Young Elite – Top 40 Under 40” in 2015 and 2016. Forbes Magazine also included Müller in their recent “30 under 30” list of promising companies in Europe, while SPIEGEL magazine describes him as “one of the most successful young online entrepreneurs in Germany”.
