The Sustainable Procurement Pledge

Thomas Heine is Co-Chair of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP) Chapter Germany (spp.earth) and editor of the sustainable procurement magazine "Kleine Kniffe" (nachhaltige-beschaffung.com). SPP Germany is the only internationally oriented sustainable procurement platform in Germany. We rely on more than 12,000 procurement professionals worldwide who attribute a key role to sustainable procurement for a grandchild-proof future on our planet. He represents the initiative "Active for Sustainable Public Procurement" at the opening event of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) on the reform of public procurement law and has been appointed as a participant in the round table of the National Circular Economy Strategy (NKWS).

Thomas Heine moderates panel discussions and gives presentations on topics such as: sustainable transformation of companies, sustainable supply chains, product carbon footprint and decarbonization in supply chains, sustainable orientation of purchasing, digitalization of purchasing as well as legislative and economic framework conditions of sustainable transformation.
