After completing my master´s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management, I worked in the transportation and forwarding industry for three and a half years. For two years, I have been working as a purchasing manager at WEICON, an international family-owned company whose product range includes adhesives and sealants, technical sprays as well as high-performance assembly pastes and greases for all areas of industry.
At the moment, I am concentrating on adapting the internal and external procurement-relevant processes to the growth of the company and current challenges on the raw materials market. The most important topics here are the close partnership with suppliers, the role of purchasing as an internal service provider and the management and motivation of employees.
