Dr. Thorsten Fallisch

Dr. Thorsten Fallisch owns a Diploma in Chemistry and holds a PhD in Bioinformatics.
Since starting his career he spent more than 10 years in different top management consultancies and was responsible for the optimization of his client’s procurement functions.
He also had a management role within the international procurement in the chemical industry and traveled the world in sabbatical for one year.
Since 2019 Thorsten works for Grünenthal GmbH. There he first held responsibility for all “Procurement Excellence” topics in the global procurement function. Since 2021 he is now heading the sourcing of international research and development services as the Head of Global R&D Procurement.
Thorsten lives close to Cologne together with his wife and his 2 children.
