Nils Retzlaff

Nils Retzlaff, 48 years old, has more than 10 years of experience as a manager in both operational and strategic purchasing, most of it with a regional energy supplier with an affiliated traffic company and meanwhile nationwide sales activities.

After assuming responsibility for his current employer, his main task was to set up the purchasing department as a Group-wide service provider respectively as a business partner and to convince employees to participate and to take them with.

Mr. Retzlaff is responsible for the procurement of all services, deliveries, construction and freelance services for the Group, only excluding primary energy.

The establishment of central purchasing department as a competent partner and consultant to the organization as well as a clear understanding as a service provider define his mission statement for the development of the purchasing department. His credo is: The profit is generated in the purchasing department.
