Boris Brauner

Boris Brauner, 54 years old, is a long-standing executive in purchasing and has profound experience in strategic and operational purchasing in medium-sized companies as well as in the corporate environment in a national and international context. The focus of his experience and activities lies in the areas of strategic realignment and restructuring of purchasing (strategic & operational), global project management, supplier qualification and management, make or buy analyses & outsourcing, global sourcing, contract management, people culture & change management.

After many years in the aviation industry and in the public transport sector of the city of Hamburg, Boris Brauner currently heads the purchasing department of the SIGNAL IDUNA Group.

People & Culture Management, the establishment of Purchasing as a competent business and sparring partner in the company, as well as an active integration of Purchasing in the "end to end" view of the value and process chain are, in his opinion, fundamental success factors for every company.
