Marcus Schumacher has been Head of Purchasing at Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co.KG since 2017 and is responsible for the procurement of direct materials, investments, indirect materials and services. In addition to purchasing all relevant requirements, Marcus is passionate about implementing sustainability in the supply chain of the Mineral water company from the Eifel and is working together with many colleagues to significantly reduce the company's emissions both internally and externally by 2030. He is convinced that purchasing, with its opportunities for collaboration, but also for enforcing requirements, is a very important building block for achieving the international climate goals.
Marcus is married and the proud father of a three-year-old daughter. In his free time, he enjoys cycling in the Eifel and is a passionate footballer.
