Joseph Carnarius

As Director of Procurement, Joseph Carnarius is responsible for all core business related spent of the digital freight forwarder FreightHub – this includes all parties of the transport chai; from the largest ocean carrier, over airlines to individual truckers. Born in Dresden, he joined the Berlin startup in 2016 as one of the first employees.

Having already completed assignments in South Africa, Chile, Australia and Malaysia, he based his career on an international management degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Besides several Start-Ups Carnarius has worked in strategy consulting as well as in the IT-Sector. During his previous role as a business unit manager for international removals at Movinga, he was successful in building a team of 70 employees shipping into more than 80 countries.

With his trademark negotiation style in reminiscence of the old school Hamburg tradesman he plays a crucial role in establishing and strengthening a strong and resilient global partner network.
