Mr Ehmann, a Hamburg native, completed his bank clerk training in the early '90s in order to then take his first professional steps as a sales trainee in Frankfurt following his military service and graduating from a degree in Business Administration. At the start of the new millennium, he joined PwC as a consultant focusing on financial services. His expertise in project management and banking led to a move to DekaBank in 2009. After holding several management positions within the bank, he took over the Internal Services & Purchasing department in 2015, which, in addition to central purchasing, also included postal services, travel, fleet, outsourcing and project management. His focus is on the organizational and technical development of procurement skills.
